The Crow Bar and Kitchen

I find it difficult to make reservations just because there are never any open spots available! Luckily you can walk in and that’s exactly what I did. I strolled in around 6:30 on a Saturday and there was no wait at all. I was taken downstairs to a dark little enclosed area that looked like a wine cellar. Where I was sitting sounded a bit creepy but it was nice to be away from the herd of craziness upstairs. I ordered the chorizo, spicy tomato sauce, and mozzarella flatbread. I also ordered the (cue the deep scary voice, flip on the fog machine, and sound off the lightening effects) the crow “black label” burger. Sorry for the sound effects but that’s what I imagine when I hear the crow “black label” burger.

The flat bread was salty and spicy. Good combination of flavors to keep your mouth dancing.

The burger was small but the meat was juicy. I thought that the burger was too salty and I definitely accompanied my burger with glasses of water. The side of duck fat fries tasted ok. I think the fries were over fried but the truffle aioli made it very edible.

The service was very good and really friendly. Overall the crow bar was just ok but it's definitely a nice addition to the OC.
